Each Neurobion 5000 tablet contains vitamin B1 100 mg, vitamin B6 100 mg and vitamin B12 5000 mcg.
Each 3-mL Neurobion 5000 ampoule contains vitamin B1 100 mg, vitamin B6 100 mg and vitamin B12 5000 mcg.
Neurobion 5000 is a combination of 3 essential neurotropic vitamins of the B group.
Vitamins B1, B6 and B12 are indispensable to normal nerve cell metabolism and this combination greatly enhances their therapeutic efficacy as compared to the effect of the respective factors given individually.
A pronounced analgesic and neuro-regenerative effect is produced by this high dosage combination and Neurobion 5000 is therefore particularly valuable in the treatment of disorders of the peripheral nervous system: Sugar-coated Tablet: Vitamins B1, B6 and B12 deficiency in case of beriberi and polyneuritis.
Injection: Provides analgesic and neuro-regenerative effect for treatment of disorders of the peripheral nervous system in polyneuritis, neuralgia, sciatica and shoulder-arm syndrome, lumbago-lumbalgia, intercostal neuralgia, trigeminal neuralgia, facial palsy, herpes zoster, diabetic neuropathy, optic neuritis, numbness of the extremities. Supplement to isoniazid therapy, reserpine and phenothiazine; hyperemesis gravidarum; vitamin B deficiency; cerebrovascular accidents.
Sugar-Coated Tablet: 1 tab daily. In more severe cases, increase dose as directed.
Injection: 1 amp daily via deep intragluteal IM in severe cases.
Administration: Sugar-Coated Tablet: Neurobion 5000 tablet should be taken with meals.
High vitamin B6 dose decrease action of levodopa.
